Mannings Health Pod Privacy Policy

The Dairy Farm Company, Limited trading as Mannings (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and store your personal data when you participate in our Health Pod and related services (together “Service”) designated stores in Hong Kong. This policy is supplemental to our existing Privacy Policy for our Mannings online store (“E-Comm Privacy Policy”). Unless otherwise defined herein, all capitalized terms shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in the E-Comm Privacy Policy. By participating in our Health Pod, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Protecting your privacy

We take your personal data seriously and strictly adhere to processing your personal data in accordance with the applicable privacy regulation. This commitment encompasses safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data, specifically in compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (“Ordinance”), where applicable.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

We may collect, use and store the following personal data from you, so that we may provide a comprehensive service and customer experience and/or better personalise the type of content we provide to you:

(a) name, gender, age and date of birth;

(b) contact details including phone number, email address and address;

(c) loyalty card number (if applicable);

(d) health information including but not limited to height, weight, body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (spo2), muscle mass, bone mass, total body water percentage, body temperature, skin condition, dental condition, medical history, self-reported symptoms, existing medications, medical concerns, allergies and diagnosis; and

(e) health and biometric information data (may be provided to us by you when you use our Health Pod)

Please note, your level of access to the Service is dependent upon the provision of the requested personal data, failure to provide such personal data may prevent you from using certain features of the Service.

2.2 Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used. This data may include:

(a) device information such as operating system, serial numbers and setting configurations;

(b) interaction data such as time and duration of use;

(c) all other information required to develop and enhance the Health Pod services.

3. How We Use Your Information

Subject to your consent (if required), we may collect, use and store your personal data for the following purposes:

(a) to conduct general wellness assessments using the Service;

(b) to enable your access to the Service;

(c) to improve our Services including the other relevant wellness assessment tools;

(d) to respond to and follow up with your wellness assessment and further consultation;

(e) to contact you with updates, promotional offers, and other information related to your wellness assessment and our Service;

(f) to perform research and analysis to optimise the Health Pod and related offerings to you;

(g) to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

4. Retention of Your Information

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. In any event, we shall retain your personal data for no longer than 24 months.
