The usual dose of lactulose in constipation is unlikely to affect diabetics.

How To Use

Cut or tear the top off the sachet and take orally immediately. For better taste, Lalalax® may be taken with water, fruit juice or milk, or mixing with food. Dosage can be individual-ized, depending on the severity of constipation*. The initial dose may be adjusted to the maintenance dose based upon individual treatment effects. It can take 2-3 days until the desired effect will be achieved.
*If necessary, folow directions advised by your doctor or pharmacist.

When taking Lalalax®, it is recommended to drink sufficient amounts of fluids (1.5 - 2L per day).
Flatulence may occur after taking, and will resolve in a couple of days. When a higher dose than recommended is used, you may experience abdominal pain and diarrhea. In this case, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
